About Erin
illustrator A animal lover

Erin Witzel is a children’s illustrator who has been passionate about drawing since early childhood. One of her earliest memories is from first grade, when she drew herself as a future pet shop owner—merging her two great loves: animals and art. While her career path took a few detours, that early spark never faded.

Erin earned her degree in Graphic and Interactive Design from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture. Her curiosity for technology led her into the world of web development, where she built a successful career. But her heart remained in storytelling and illustration, especially for children’s books and whimsical, animal-centered art.

Today, Erin specializes in vibrant, digital illustrations that capture the wonder of childhood. Her work is known for its soft color palettes, playful characters, and cozy, nature-inspired themes. Whether it’s drawing curious kids, cuddly creatures, or imaginative worlds, Erin brings warmth and personality to every page.

She works primarily in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, crafting illustrations that are perfect for picture books, educational materials, and kid-friendly media. Erin lives for creating heartwarming stories and visuals that inspire young readers—and the grown-ups who read with them.
